Music Ministry

Our Music Ministry is led by Stephen Farrar, Minister of Music. Our church accompanists are Kitty Martin and Carolyn Greene.

Music Opportunities for All Ages

• Handbells (Calvary Joybells) - Wednesdays at 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  No experience needed. The group includes experienced and novice players. Come with a desire to make beautiful music.
  
  
• Preschool and Children's Music
  Children are given the opportunity to sing and to learn about music, focusing on new Praise and Worship music. Preschool children learn old and new songs of faith.
  
  
• Special Groups and Ensembles
  Our minister of music, Stephen Farrar, along with adult volunteers, are working with established groups, such as the Calvary Belles (a women’s ensemble) and the Calvary Hymns (a male ensemble) while working to expand our music ministry to include other groups, both vocal and instrumental. We have a Sanctuary Band and have developed a Praise and Worship Team (vocalists and instrumentalists) for the Contemporary Uplift Worship. Adults and youth are invited to join the Uplift Team. Steve welcomes persons to volunteer to be involved in new and innovative ways with music.
  
  
• Adult Santuray Choir Rehearsal -Wednesdays at 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm
  The adult Sanctuary Choir is under the direction of minister of music Stephen Farrar. This choir focuses on leading the music of the Sunday morning services each week, and presents special musical/drama programs at Christmas, Easter and other occasions. Opportunities are available for choir members to join ensemble groups as well as contributing through solos.
