Previous messages from the Pastor Search Committee stated that you, the congregation, are a vital part of this process through your prayerful support and input.  So, we are, once again, asking for your help. 

During the town hall meetings, in which many of you participated, a profile was developed of the type of individual you desire as Calvary’s next pastor---that was the foundation piece to guide the Pastor Search Committee.  The final part of the process is the “Pastoral Leadership Expectations Survey” which will prioritize the qualities/duties you expect from this individual.  This, then, will give the committee as complete a picture as possible in conducting our search.  Please pray about your answers and mark the items on the survey as the Holy Spirit leads you.

The online questionnaire lists 42 items necessary for a pastor to be effective.  While all 42 are important, please select the 12 items on which you believe are the most vital for the new pastor to focus on at this time.  This is not a ranking.  The surveys will then be tallied, with the 12 items receiving the highest number of votes used to guide the committee. 

After you have completed choosing 12 items, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the Submit button.  The target date for receiving the completed surveys is August 1, 2010.
