Calvary Baptist Church
Calvary Baptist Church Sunday School has a place for YOU. We currently offer
27 Sunday School classes for you and your family, beginning in the nursery through Senior Adult classes. The goal of Calvary's Sunday School is to reach out and disciple our community for Christ through love and Bible Study. Soon we will be introducing FAT FREE Sunday School to our Sunday School Ministry. We look forward to seeing YOU at Sunday School at 9:45 each Sunday for a time of fun, fellowship, love, and Bible Study. WE HAVE A PLACE FOR YOU - Come see us.
What is Sunday School and why is Sunday School important? Different people will probably answer these questions in different ways. Both of these questions can be answered with the same type answer. Sunday School is a part of worship to God. It is a time of learning, sharing, and fellowship. According to Luke 2:40-52, Jesus, at the age of 12 was with the leaders of the synagogue asking questions about the work of God. The Bible does not use the term Sunday School, however we can recognize Jesus' involvement with the synagogue leaders as being similar to the role of Sunday School--teaching and learning.  |
